Welcome to our website devoted to chocolate and it’s fusion with the hot spice chili.  This unlikely combination has been around for hundreds, perhaps as long as six thousand years and it is no less popular today.

Both chocolate and chili were grown in Central America and it’s neighboring areas (Mesoamerica) as long as four  thousand years BC.  It is thought that wild chili was collected in what is now Mexico as long as seven thousand years BC!

Evidence suggests that  chili was used in everything and were consumed fresh as well as being preserved by smoking and drying.  This is a pattern that continues to the present day.  The blend of Chocolate and Chili was a favorite combination.
